Wind

| The forecast shows wind velocity using coloured areas, where each colour stands for a particular range of wind speeds. The windspeed is also indicated by the size of the arrows. Wind speed in kilometres per hour is shown below the scale (0 .. 117). You can change to other scales using the drop down menu upper right. |

Temperature and Isobars

| The forecast shows temperature using coloured areas, where each colour stands for a particular range of temperatures in degrees Celsius. Under Settings* you can change the scale to Farenheit. This will however not change the temperature numbers inside the circles or on isoterms which are always Celsius. The black lines are isobars with numbers in hPa. |

Circles in maps

Each circle on a map stands for a specific location, a city. Click inside it and a meteogram with the name of that city will appear in the bottom left hand corner. Click on the x box within the meteogram to cancel the meteogram. |

Animation functions

Choose from day 1 to 6 by clicking in the button. You can now run the animation sequences for that day by pressing the play button. Each one runs a sequence of eight maps (one for every 3 hours of the selected day) that repeats six times and then stops. Use the -3hr and + 3hr buttons to navigate 3 hour by 3 hour. |

Meteograms

It consists of a combination of data: temperature, winds, precipitation, cloud over a 6 day period noted on the horizontal base line.
Vertical dotted lines give 6 hour intervals. Wind is measured against the right hand green scale (km/h/mph), wind strenght and direction are shown in black arrows. Temperature is measured against left scale in celcius. Precipitation types are measured in mm per hour. However Snow is measured in cm per hour. Cloud density is measured in the depth of the grey scale in the second tier.
